The Course

Arrival Instructions:

When you arrive at Caldwell College ( College Map), please make your way to the registration area. Volunteers will also be stationed around campus to help you navigate your way. There will be a designated place for PRE REGISTERED runners/walkers that you will be able to pick up your race packet which includes your bib and t-shirt. There will also be a separate area for runner/walkers who wish to register the day of the event.

Runners Welcome!

This 5K race is a USATF Certified course and is a 500 points New Jersey Grand Prix event. The race will be run and scored by CompuScore. Competitive runners will be in the front so they can take off first. The course begins at the Caldwell College campus and winds through the beautiful town of Essex Fells.

Kids Welcome!

Join us for a 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk around our beautiful campus!

Walkers Welcome!

Caldwell College encourages walkers. Enjoy a beautiful, scenic walk on what should be a gorgeous Sunday morning and help support the on-campus Center for Autism and ABA. Walkers will start towards the back at the start line allowing runners to take off first.

Registration

Registering couldn’t be easier! Fees are as follows:

  • $25 for Adults and Children 10+ before April 1st
  • $30 for Adults and Children 10+ after April 1st
  • $7 for Children under 10 before April 1st
  • $10 for Children under 10 after April 1st
  • $18 for USATF Member

Entry fees are non-refundable and entries are non-transferable.

Medals

Medals will be awarded to the top three 5K finishers overall, in 5-year age groups, and kids of all ages in the Fun Run/Walk.

Additional Awards and Prizes

We will also do a random drawing and present an award to a female teacher between the ages of 20-24 in honor of Mary Katherine Ladany, a first year teacher who loved to run. A graduate of Mount Saint Dominic Academy, Katie passed away August 2009.

There will be ample amounts of FREE parking on the Caldwell College Campus.
